Metal on glass

It's a technology which allows to cover glass with a few type of metals for decorative purpose. Technological process consist in a couple of stages, but most important is metal cover using an electrolytic bath.
Glass can be covered with this metals:
- copper coating, using an acidic electrolytic bath; (photo)
- brass coating, using a non cyanide electrolytic bath. Requires an initial copper layer; (photo)
- silver coating, using a non cyanide electrolytic bath. Requires an initial copper layer; (photo)
- nickel coating, using a nickel electrolytic bath. Requires an initial copper layer; (photo)
- iron coating, using an iron electrolytic bath. Requires an initial copper layer; (photo)
- pewter alloy coating, using an electrolytic bath. Requires an initial copper layer. (photo)
