It’s a technology which allows getting an iridescent appearance of glass by treating glass in shaping phases. (photo)
Because requires pieces with at least 0.5 cm wall thickness it is not suitable for tableware glass, being dedicated to artistic glass objects. Keep in mind that technological process demand use of glass with long period of shaping, in terms of cooling temperature.
All you have to do is to apply a liquid substance by spraying the glass into the shapping phase using pressure spraying tools.
Spraying tools must be produced from stainless steel, brass, polyethylene or polypropylene.
The technology allows the subsequent deposition of colorless glass layers on already iridescent objects. (photo)
It also allows shaping of iridescent glass objects to obtain Stretch glass. (photo)
