Glass dopant

Glass dopant are compounds made up of small-sized fragments of colored glass which contain precious metals.
In the glass shaping process, depending on where the particles of the dopant are positioned (the mass of the glass or its surface), the resulting effects are different, and it can be achieved the mirror effect (due to the reduction of the metal) or a palette of different colours. (photo)
